Where can I find the type or model number of my extractor?
This number can be found on the nameplate. The type or model number is needed to find the correct part. The nameplate of an extractor is almost always on the outside of the extractor (on the edge). It may also be found behind the outer grate.
What number should I have?
The correct number is the type or model number, and NOT the serial number. The type or model number always consists of a combination of numbers and/or letters. Sometimes, the sequence is interrupted by a dash (-) or a slash (/).
