Where can I find the type or model number of my dryer?
The nameplate of the dryer is the type or model number. That number is needed to find the right part. The nameplate is usually located behind the door of the device. Do not forget to look behind the hinge. It can also be found at the back or front of the device.
What number should I have?
The correct number is the type or model number, and NOT the serial number. The type or model number always consists of a combination of numbers and / or letters. Sometimes, the sequence is interrupted by a dash (-) or a slash (/).
